INVITATION FOR BIDS
LAKE HOUSE CANTEEN – 2028

Sealed bids are invited from experienced caterers to run the Lake House canteen. This canteen is kept open, from 6.00 am to 12.00 midnight and the successful caterer will have to supply varieties of quality foods and beverages in good condition at specified rates.
Bidding documents comprising application, terms and conditions could be obtained from the Procurement Department, The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited from 30th September 2026 to 13th October 2026 between 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. on weekdays on payment of a refundable deposit of Rs. 5,000/- and non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000/-.
Bid shall include a Reference list of similar contracts performed by the bidder in the recent past and all supporting documents to be attached to prove the contracts performed by the bidder.
All bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as “Bid for Lake House Canteen – 2028” on the top left-hand corner addressed to Head of Procurement, The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd, No. 35, D.R Wijewardena Mw, Colombo 10 to reach on or before 14th October 2026 at 2.00p.m.
Bids may be sent by post under registered cover or may be deposited in the bid box kept in the Procurement Dept. of The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd, Lake House, No. 35, D.R Wijewardena Mw, Colombo 10.
Bids will be opened immediately after closing time of the bids. Bidders or their authorized representatives will be permitted to be present at the time of opening.
However, The Associated Newspaper of Ceylon Ltd, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason whatsoever.
