Proposals for Consultation – Warehouse Complex with Rooftop Solar Projects

The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd. invites sealed bids from qualified and experienced consultancy firms or individual consultants to develop Warehouse Complexes with Rooftop Solar Power Projects at the following properties,

• Mihintale
• Facing Trincomalee road
• Kotahena
• Located at George R. De Silva Mawatha, Colombo 13
• Close to the Colombo Harbor with wide access roads from three sides
• Hokandara
• Situated in close proximity to the townships of Hokandara, Malabe, Thalawathugoda, & Pelawatta

Scope of Services:

The selected consultant shall be required to:

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the above properties and evaluate their suitability for the proposed development.
• Conduct technical, commercial and financial feasibility studies.
• Prepare a concept development plan for a warehouse complex with a rooftop solar power system.
• Advise on the optimum development approach, project implementation strategy and investment options.
• Identify statutory, planning and regulatory requirements.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Proven experience in property consultancy, feasibility studies or project advisory services.
• Relevant professional qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning or related field
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices
• Excellent analytical, project management and communication skills

Submission Requirements:

Interested Consultants are invited to submit:

• Company/Individual profile
• Portfolio of Similar Portfolio projects completed
• Technical proposal outlining the proposed methodology and work plan
• Financial proposal

Bids should be sent in a sealed envelope marked “Bids for Consultation – Warehouse Complex with Rooftop Solar Project at Mihintale, Kotahena & Hokandara” on the top left-hand corner sent to the Head of Procurement, The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd, Lake House, No. 35, D.R Wijewardana Mawatha, Colombo 10 to reach on or before 07^th September 2026 at 2.30 p.m.

Bids may be sent by post under registered cover or may be deposited in the bid box kept in the Procurement Dept. of The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd, Lake House, No. 35, D.R Wijewardana Mawatha, Colombo 10.

Bids will be opened immediately after closing time of the bids. The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason whatsoever.
