The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) invites quotations from registered custom house clearing agents for providing Clearing & Transportation of Newsprint containers and other import Consignments.
Mainly, the imports comprise of Newsprint, Printing Materials & Press related items which are to be delivered to ANCL warehouse from Colombo Port / Colombo Bandaranayake International Airport in very good condition in a timely manner. Hence, we look forward to service providers who possess a minimum track record of three years in the business and currently provide similar services for reputed companies. Your bid must accompany the reference list together with the contact details and should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as “Clearing and Transportation of Newsprint containers and Consignments”.
This contract is for a period of one year and the successful bidder shall provide a Bank Guarantee for Rs. 300,000/- for the successful completion of the contract in accordance with the bidding conditions.
Bidding documents comprising General conditions, bidding conditions & Offer Sheet could be collected on working days from 13th October 2025 to 24th October 2025 between 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. from Head of Procurement upon payment of a non – refundable fee of Rs. 2,000/- in cash.
Bids should be sent to reach the Head of Procurement or shall be deposited in the tender box at the Procurement department on or before 27th October 2025 at 2.30 p.m. which will be opened immediately.
Bidders or accredited representatives will be allowed to present at the opening. However, The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd. reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason whatsoever.
