Sealed offers are hereby invited from foreign principles and local suppliers for the supply of “Web Offset Ink” as specified below.
Description : Web Offset Ink for Printing of Newspaper (Black, Cyan, Yellow, Magenta)
Quantity : 19,400 kg (Approximate)
Black – 6,000 kg Yellow – 5,000 kg
Cyan – 3,600 kg Magenta – 4,800 kg
Ink Feeding : Through Lincoln Ink Pumping System
Packing : 200 kg Drums
Foreign Offers
The bidders should quote both FOB and CIF Colombo prices (on at sight as well as 90 days usance). CIF offers should clearly detailed Cost, Freight & Insurance charges separately. ANCL reserves the right to place the order on FOB or on CIF term.
Local Offers
Local offers indicating transport charges, VAT and other levies separately with specifications should be submitted.
Probable date of delivery, validity of price, terms of payment etc. to be clearly indicated on the offers.
Acceptance of new sources/ products is subjected to a quality test.
Offers should be sent in a sealed envelope marked as “Web Offset Ink” on the top left hand corner to reach the Head of Procurement on or before 07th July 2025 at 2.30 p.m. which will be opened immediately. No separate documents will be issued. Suppliers may use their own formats.
Offers may be sent by post under registered cover or may be deposited in the bid box kept in the Procurement Dept. of The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd, Lake House, No. 35, D.R Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo – 10.
Bidders or accredited representatives will be allowed to present at the opening. However, The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd. reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason whatsoever.
